The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4"-20 screws and removed to allow installing the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed via 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. At the battery door there is a hinge arm that fits camera curve for improved grip experience for little finger. A dedicated cable clamp for HDMI protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. The patented self-developed quick release structure (named HawkLock) covers the cold shoe, NATO rail and plate for Arca-Swiss, and is used in conjunction with HawkLock eco-accessories, such as the Top Handle 4483, the Side Handle 4485, the Clamp for Arca-Swiss 4486, etc., to achieve smooth sliding in and self-locking to improve the efficiency of disassembling and reassembling; and at the same time, it is compatible with the traditional cold shoe, NATO Clamp, and the Clamp for Arca-Swiss eco-accessories.
