Gail Turner Trinket Dish Handcrafted Heavy Pottery Bowl Dark Blue & Gray

Description: Studio artist crafted and handpainted one-of-a-kind trinket dish. In excellent used condition. No chips, cracks or crazing, no damage. Any minor flaws are inherent to the design/firing process. Made from heavy pottery clay that's in an oblong (stretched oval) shape with an oblong base. It doesn't sit perfectly flat since it's handthrown, but you can't tell while it's sitting on a counter or tabletop as in the photos. The interior surface is painted with a stylized floral design in dark blue and gray shades, with a matching solid underside, and fired to a high gloss finish. Measures 11.5" wide x 5.25" depth x 2.25" tall. Gail Turner's signature is carved into the clay on the underside. The carving is a bit shallow so it's hard to read and even harder to capture in photos (see last three). There's no date so I don't know exactly when it was made.
