Description: Rare Litra from Galaria in SicilySize 11.8mm, weight 0.85g The obverse shows the crowned head of Zeus (or Kronos?), the reverse Dionysus holding a kantharos. Remains of the legend GA(larion ?).Due to the iconographic similarity and the remains of the legend, an attribution to Galaria is obvious, cf. SNG ANS 4 1, SNG Lloyd 949, SNG Stockholm 1 413, HGC 2 331, Campana 1.
