Author Biography Manuel Lpez Mateos inici su actividad docente en 1967 en la Facultad de Ciencias de la UNAM, por lo que en 2017 cumpli 50 aos de actividad profesional. En la Facultad de Ciencias imparti cursos durante 20 aos, desde el nivel de Clculo diferencial e integral I hasta el de Anlisis matemtico III, pasando por Algebra lineal y Topologa diferencial. En particular, en el ao de 1972, imparti, en el entonces Centro de Didctica de la UNAM, Cursos de capacitacin para la primera generacin de profesores de matemticas del Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades (CCH) de la UNAM. Ha traducido ms de 15 importantes libros de texto de matemticas. En el ao de 2003, fue el director fundador de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad Autnoma Benito Jurez de Oaxaca.
