Description: This 5 blade German made advertising folding pocket knife is in great condition. The stamp of the advertiser is quite faint, "Garten Service, 403, Bochum" , garden service in English. This is not a common knife found here in the U.S.A.. It has a 'whale' as its stamp on the heel, see images. I suspect that Richartz company moved to Solingen at some time, since there is no stamp suggesting Solingen when this knife was produced. They are now located in Solingen. Solingen, the city and the manufacturer, any blade maker in Solingen must put a stamp on their blade, a rule produced by the city and other blade makers in Solingen.
