Description: You are bidding on a very attractive true first edition / first printing of Apollo astronaut Gene Cernan's flagship biography The Last Man on the Moon. As the title implies, Gene was - and still is - the last human being to leave footprints on the moon when his Apollo 17 module lifted away from the moon's surface back in 1972. Gene signed this copy along with a cute inscription "to a fellow Boilermaker" (ie. Purdue University alum) directly to the title page. Condition is near fine for the book which appears unread with pristine text and attractive boards but there's a checkmark on the ffe; only mild wear on the dust jacket, looks very appealing with a new mylar cover. An awesome gift for any space enthusiast!
