Description: I have for sale a set of genuine BMW Workshop Fender Pads. I ordered these many years ago, but only used them briefly. There is a pad for the left fender and one for the right fender, both with a BMW logo printed on the grey fabric reinforced vinyl. 81-47-0-026-306 UNIVERSAL PROTECTIVE SIDE COVERS The covers are made in Germany, but due to age the open cell foam on the backside is disintegrating. If I were keeping them, I would visit a fabric store and pick up something soft to have it sewn to the backside of these covers. The shipping box will have small bits of the foam floating around. There a 3 attachment options for near the windshield - I tend to use the "button" type to pop over the hinge stop for the hood. Towards the front of the cover is a long velco type strap to wrap around something in the engine bay. In the photo I have it wrapped around the hood release cable. The inside of these covers has additional velco for attaching to the optional 81-47-0-144-363 FRONT PROTECTIVE COVER, which I never purchased. There was even a wall bracket to hold the covers, according to my Special Tooling catalog. Nice addition to your workshop! Thanks for looking.
