Description: Original County Series Geological Survey of Scotland Map Renfrewshire XI. NE, covering the Johnstone and Kilbarchan areas, on a scale of Six Inches to One Statute Mile. The map was originally geologically surveyed during the 1800s, revised and thereafter published in 1922 by Sir John S. Flett. The map itself is printed on thick paper and measures approximately 46cm x 30cm, with titles, notes, stamps, legends and scale bars on the wide margins. The whole sheet measures approximately 68cm x 42cm. The map is in good condition, but has been folded down the centre and has been overmarked in the top right and bottom left margins (see photos).
