Description: Unspoken Sermons series 1, undated, Strahan, London…George MacDonald’s first series volume 1 of his Unspoken Sermons, published by Strahan in London. Volume is basically in VG minus condition : Both boards have minor wear and abrasion, and the occasional lite blemish. Spine is strong , gilt still present, the top and bottom edges have a bit of rubbing and rough edges. There is a 1/2 inch cloth separation on the upper left spine edge. Internally, front and back boards have near perfect gutters and pages. Former owner’s name present on half title page. Pages appear unread and pristine : no markings, tears, missing or smoke.
