Description: German 1970s Vintage SKS Rein Zinn (Pewter )12oz Pitcher or Jug, this has a flat handle, set on a pedestal base, originally made for use with milk, cream, sauce, syrup, gravy. This was made in Germany and is stamped (partial and faint) on the base with "SKS ZINN 95%" but it still has its original black plastic tag attached which reads "SKS Design" and "Rein (Angel symbol) Zinn" Great solid quality pewter utensil that is perfect to repurpose and would make a fabulous vase, just add a bouquet of roses to add an elegant touch to any table setting. Today pewter is enjoying an enormous revival, that grows each year people have rediscovered the glowing beauty and practical function of fine pewter utensils.
