Description: For sale, German stoneware blue salt glaze stein, with raised relief depicting "Hermann's Abschied Von Tusnelda". In English this means "Hermann is Leaving Tusnelda". Image shows man wearing a Viking helmet leaving a woman while holding the hand of a little boy. There is another man holding a horse in the background. This stein tells the story of Arminius and Thusnelda. This would be a great stein to add to a collection, but because the handle has been broken, I do not think I would be using it to drink out of. This stein is marked Germany on the bottom and also has several other unknown markings. This stein is believed to be rare, the manufacture date is unknown, but it is at least vintage and may be antique. See photos for a visual description.
