The medal is expertly done in the unique Karl Goetz artistic style; the rim is marked “BAYER. HAUPTMUNZAMPT. FEINSILBER” (Bavarian Head Coinage Office. Fine Silver). Very attractive light-gray patina with purple overtones; weights about 20 grams, 36.2 mm in diameter. This specimen is in excellent uncirculated condition with original patina; this type is scarce in general and rare rare this nice.
