Description: This Allin family made 8 1/2"x almost 11" scrapbook was assembled on Jan.1990, from news clippings and GG's art and poetry. The proceeds of it's sales were used to benefit GG in prison, and to help pay for future scrapbooks. It is in excellent condition, and contains 38 pages plus 2 pages of GG Allin items which could be ordered at the time, including audio and video tapes of GG from Merle (GG's brother) and Michie Allin. They, the "M & M Team", organized and put together this scrapbook. It is EXTREMELY RARE, no doubt because they were produced in very small quantities by family. The enclosed letter, hand written with blue ink, is written on the reverse side of an 8 1/2" x 11" copy of a prison admission sheet with several enlarged images of GG Allin's fingerprints. In the letter GG's brother Merle Allin states that the scrapbook is made available "for a good cause". He also mentions audio and video tapes of GG's live shows that he sells. At the very end he answers the question - "Yes I'm GG's brother". I like that! The letter is dated 5-19-90 and was mailed May 22, 1990. This scrapbook is definitely intended for adults only, over 18 years of age. Whether you are a GG Allin fan, or a collector of rare and unique items from the history of Rock N' Roll, or both, this is a great addition to any serious collection.
