Giant Column separator process pilot plant reactor distilling fractional USA

Description: Custom Giant 56 inch long by 5 inches in dia. Reactor or separator column for separations, fluid/gas adsorption, vapor exchange, gas cooling etc. This was part of a scaled pilot process plant inside a trouble shooting laboratory at a large plastics manufacturing plant. I acquire this at shut down, and it has been in storage since, for several years. Made by Tudor Scientific Glass in North Augusta, South Carolina. The overall length is 56 inches, with a 5 inch diameter. The Top neck which is ground flat for mating with a reactor lid, has an OD of approx 137mm and an ID of 107mm. There is a 30/20 spherical joint near the stopcock end (bottom?) . There is a crack or defect about 1-1/4 inches long in the glass just below the spherical joint- see closeup with defect circled. A good glass shop should be able to easily fix this. Other than that the glass looks in very good condition. I washed the glass in soap and water, but this item is used, so you will need to clean according to your intended use.
