The Murphy Lab Collection brings together many years of aging technology. The model we have received is based on the 1959 Les Paul, one of the most popular Les Paul models, and features a combination of light weather checking and light aged hardware to recreate the condition of a guitar that has been carefully stored in a case. The neck shape is an "Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape" with rolled binding, and the frets are "Historic Medium-Jumbo", making it extremely easy to play. With recent updates, this instrument also features powerful specifications in terms of sound, such as unpotted custom bucker pickups, Luxe Bumblebee capacitors, and pots with vintage curves. The sound in every position is appealing, with a sweet-sounding neck pickup, a crisp bridge pickup, and a mix position with an exquisite mellowness. In addition, thanks to the aforementioned update, the response when turning the knobs is excellent, making it easy to create a variety of tones at your fingertips.
