The slim cutaway horn shape, short pickguard, double-ring Kluson pegs, block position marks on the fingerboard, and the ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles are all faithfully reproduced in the '60s. While the "1961 ES-335 Reissue" in the lineup has a "thinner neck shape" typical of the '60s, this model is finished in the "Authentic '64 Medium C-Shape" based on scanned data from a vintage instrument, and the slightly thicker shape is also an attractive point! The pickup is equipped with an unpotted underwound custom bucker.
