Description: For sale is Glen Frey's Soul Searchin', originally released in 1988 by MCA Records and reissued by Columbia House under license for their Mail Order Club customers, indicated by a "CRC" on the bottom of the back cover. According to the liner notes, this record was mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sounds, N.Y.C. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "G1", followed by the matrix numbers A-4/C-3, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this reissue at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Carrollton, Georgia. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it away into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is Excellent with some faint ring wear, minor corner blunts and two creased corners. The spine has a little color loss at the corners from these blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is one of the best copies that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
