These originally were introduced on the Series 3 3800 L32 and L26 engine as GM was plagued for years with horrible plastic intake gaskets that would fail quickly. These gaskets do not fail like the old plastic ones and work on all 3.8L series II and series III engines. L36, L26, L67, and L32. From 1996 to 2008 GM 3800 V6 engines. Don't even think about buying the black gaskets or any other aftermarket ones. Your asking for trouble. We have been specializing in this engine since 2000.
