Description: Wonderful original ad trimmed from a very damaged original issue of Demorest's Magazine, September 1892 issue. The ad shown is original from the magazine -- it is not a copy or reproduction. The mat that it was mounted inside of is new, and was custom-cut to fit this specific ad. Overall outside dimensions of ad and mat is 8" x 10", so it will fit a standard size frame. The ad itself measures 4 1/8" x 4 1/8". I've attached photos of the ad mounted on the white foam board backer - before I matted it, and the finished product after the mat was added. The mat is slightly textured and rust in color. I've also included a photo of the cover of the magazine -- but this will not be sent to the buyer of this matted ad -- it's just shown here to give the prospective buyer more of an idea of the magazine it was originally part of. There is some bleed-through visible looking directly at the ad, due to other printed material on the back side of the ad.
