Description: Beautiful copy of the 1938 printing of the first edition hardcover of Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. This copy is in very nice condition, with only light wear on the cloth cover, the worst of whicg is a 1/4" tear at the top back fold of the spine. Not bad. Otherwise no other tears in the cloth, only a little edgewear and some corner rubbing. The binding is strong and the boards straight and firm. There is a name and a 1939 date written on the opening blank page, but otherwise all the contents are crisp and clean throughout. A lovely pre-movie copy!
