Description: Up for bid is a nice Victorian sterling preserve spoon in a VICTORIA, ENGRAVED pattern by Wood & Hughes, introduced around 1885. The spoon is 7 1/4 inches long and weighs 41 grams. It has a round bowl with a ruffled edge and an engraved design in the center. The handle front is decorated with engraving as well. It has not been monogrammed. The piece is marked with the ‘WwH” trademark and [STERLING]. Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There are a couple of bowl dings and normal wear. An attractive old spoon.
