The feel of the thick museum board and texture are that of a very old map. All design lines and text were created using a vector-based graphics program for clear and sharp images. The map is creased to make it easier to fold, while the other lines offer to find more information hidden within the map itself! If you want to display the map closed (folded), you will need to place a small amount of tape on the inside and back flaps since it is not made of paper and has "memory" it will pop open due to its heavy thickness. Lastly in order to protect the image and colors, it has a slight sheen to it that according to the paper manufacturer, will last well over 100 years without fading. Due to the nature of fire, each map will have a slight variation from map to map making each one unique. This magnificent map will arrive at your doorstep pre-folded as shown in the second photo.
