Description: For sale is the rare larger version of this male turkey (aka tom or gobbler ) figurine made by Meissen in the 20th century . Nicely modeled and hand painted as one would expect from the top maker! The figure is standing on a little base painted with a spot of grass as well as a flower to the front of it. The bird is painted all around so it can be sitting in the middle of the table and look great from all angles! The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glazed blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a painter's mark as shown. The figure is 4.125 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep.
