Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE GREAT VINTAGE ORIENT FLUME STUDIO ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT BLUE AURENE FLOWERS 1974A beautiful piece of contemporary American hand-made studio art glass in the form of a gorgeous art glass paperweight. This is an early piece; “Orient & Flume” was founded in 1972 and this piece is dated 1974. It is also very unusual in its shape (less rounded than most) and its design. The design consists of two (2) blue “aurene” colored flower blossoms, brown & green “vines,” and a large amount of high quality lampwork with horizontal darker blue “threading” that pretty much covers the entire paperweight. It was hand-made by the very talented glass artists at Orient & Flume in California in 1974. This piece and has been part of my personal collection since the year 2011. The piece in my photos is the actual piece you will receive. Please be sure to read the “Age and Condition” and “Approximate Dimensions” paragraphs below.The underside is scratch signed with: “Orient & Flume” and “287 J 1974”. Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger than it really is.
