Description: This is a saucer from W. H. Grindley & Co., Ltd., Staffordshire, England, called English Country Inns. It shows an inn in the British countryside, in blue transfer ware on the front, with another image of a house all around the center, with a pretty scroll pattern around the edge. It is made in England, in permanent colours, as marked on the back. It is in great condition, glossy, no scratches, crazing or chips. It measures about 5 1/2" in diameter.
