Description: Vintage Gucci black leather handbag to shoulder to crossbody from early 1950’s collection. Leather handle strap, ‘G.GUCCI’ engraved on golden toned push Lady Lock. Golden toned hardware, leather interior. Exterior crafted in characteristic supple black leather. Two compartments and interior zip-pocket with Gucci medallion charm adhered to zipper. Embossed gold stamp on interior leather ‘Made in Italy by Gucci’ on inside leather. As well as a serial number, example of the earliest serial numbers in Gucci’s history, embossed in the upper right corner of the zip-pocket. One of a kind item for any Gucci-lover and collector. Sold without bag or cards. Dimensions: 29.5x18.5x5cm. Note the rare elongated slim shape (see mannequin photos). Details: very good vintage condition; minor surface scratches, and corners are good. The push button of the front pocket is a bit loose. This bag is incredibly rare and in very good physical shape with a clean interior. Minimalist and statement making.
