Doll designed by Doll Artist PAMELA PHILLIPS for the Seymour Mann Signature Series, Connoisseur Collection...their higher line of dolls. Pamela Phillips is known for her "Portraits in Porcelain" Dolls, and has created dolls for Georgetown Collectibles and Seymour Mann Signature Series. Her Guinevere doll won Doll Reader's DOTY DOLL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN 1995. Guinevere is hard to find in this condition . Doll's price tag originally states $360.00. Lady Guinevere stands approximately 28". She is a LIMITED EDITION collector's doll, and is retired. Her Certificate of Authenticity is signed by Pamela Phillips, serial no. is 846/5000. Artist's signature inscribed into porcelain on back of head, and imprinted on back of neck. Doll has porcelain head jointed to breastplate, hands and arms, feet and legs. Porcelain has smooth finish and beautiful blushed skin tone. Realistic hands with separated fingers. Torso is a well constructed stuffed cloth body. Long blonde synthetic wig in a wavy Renaissance style. She is known as a "BREATHER DOLL", a favored feature in the doll world. Attached upper eyelashes, and hand painted lower eyelashes, feathered eyebrows, and beautiful blue eyes. Accessories include a beautiful silk and dried flower head wreath and matching bouquet with organza ribbons.
