His illustrations graced works by Balzac, Gautier, Wilde's SALMOE, and Flaubert. Copy 251 of the edition of 1200 copies, this is printed on velin d'Arches, with the plates in one state. The binding was done by Pinardon. SALAMMBO was a favorite work of the Ferroud brothers. This edition is from their Petite Bibliotheque Andrea series. 12 mos, 3/4 brown morocco, marbled boards and endpaper, original French wrappers bound in.
