Description: When the GWTW movie was released in 1939, there were several promotional tie-ins created and sold. One such item was a series of handkerchiefs that were sold in Department Stores and Dime Stores. I believe that there were four different designs of this handkerchief sold. This one happens to be the "Bonnie Blue" pattern - which displays Bonnie on her pony in two corners; and Rhett and Bonnie in the alternate two corners. The condition of this handkerchief is excellent. It has it's original gold-colored sticker - as can be seen in the pictures attached - applied on one corner. The sticker is in the shape of the GWT book. Colors are strong and there is no staining - nor any flaws in the material. It does have creases from being folded - basically since it was new. The approximate size of the handkerchief is 13 x 13 inches. I have attached a picture of a vintage advertisement showing these handkerchiefs for sale back in 1939.
