G. horstii is an attractive large growing cactus species rising up to 6 inch above ground level, usually solitary in habitat, but on occasion branching basally in cultivation and minimally spined with a green ball-shaped body. Flowers are pale pink to pale purplish, up to 3 inch in diameter.Originally from Uruguay, East Paraguay, South Brasil and Northeast Argentina.Plant ships bare root.
