Description: Habsburg China Austria Cake Plate & 6 Dessert Plates Purple Floral 1910-1930 Exquisite Decorative HABSBURG PORCELAIN Set of CAKE PLATE and 6 DESSERT PLATES, Hand Decorated PURPLE FLOWERS w/GREEN Leaves, from Altrohlau, Austria in 1910-1930 DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful set of a cake plate with 6 dessert plates. These are hand decorated with 4 sprays of purple & white flowers with green leaves. There are grey ghost leaves to add depth to the design. These are skillfully and realistically hand decorated on the high white porcelain which is accented with gold only around the 2 reticulated handles on the cake plate. The rims are scalloped and embossed. See the photos to admire the beauty of this set. CONDITION: The condition of this decorative set is superb, even though it is classified as used. This would make great display or a functional set of large dessert plates to use everyday. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, scratches, rubbings or hairlines. There is no age appropriate wear to the gold on the handles of the cake plate. Please refer to the photos to see how classically beautiful this is. DIMENSIONS: The cake plate has a diameter of 10" and a height of 1 1/2" while the measurement handle to handle is 10 3/4". The dessert plates have a diameter of 7 7/8" and a height of 7/8". HISTORY/MARKS: Habsburg Porcelain was a New York based importer of Bohemian porcelain (mostly Hutschenreuther and Altrohlau porcelain) operating from 1912-1942. If the item has only the Habsburg mark, then it limits the circa from 1910-1930. Most of this was from Altrohlau manufactured by MZ (Moritz Zdekauer). .
