It powers on, lights up, The Carrier Level Indicator needle goes over to about 5 units a couple seconds after turning on. That is all the testing that has been done. You're buying for parts or not working. The darker spots on the unit in the pictures are from shade from a tree. There are marks/scratches etc as you can see in the pictures. The piece of paper was taped to the top but I put something on it which tore it when I moved it. This is heavy, would be a good pick up item. If you're local to west Cincinnati, you can pick this up and save the shipping time and cost.
