Description: From my personal collection: Rare older title to find in this condition! “Tappin' That Thing” from legendary Tennessee blues harmonicist Hammie Nixon (born Hammie Nickerson). Nixon, as an orphan, began his musical journey in the 1920s playing with local jug bands - and went on to forge a longtime partnership with guitarist Sleepy John Estes and later recording with Little Buddy Doyle, Lee Green, Charlie Pickett, and Son Bonds. Sadly, Nixon passed away in 1984 at the age of 76. Disc and jewel case are both pristine. Comes with all original artwork/inserts. UPC on back cover has a small hole punch. Thanks for looking!
