Description: This slingshot is likely one of the first few ever made in Smooth Sumac, a wood not considered usable in woodworking but that has strong and super light weight forks, perfect for slingshots! Native Americans used the wood for the shafts of peace pipes. It weighs around a 1.5 ounces, and pulls medium-light. I call it a pop can plinker! Bands are tapered Theraband Gold, tied to a calfskin pouch. The pouch is secured with pure silk thread. Factory-sealed 3M shooting glasses and starter ammo are included, so you can shoot immediately. The slingshot forks were carved in 2020 and banded in 2023. This one has a crooked left fork that adds a lot of character! It feels great when held in the left hand, for a right-handed shooter, but can be shot by a leftie.
