Description: Just finished cutting this beautiful Brazilian Emerald. It is an oval and translucent Brazilian Emerald and weighs 5.30 Carats and measures (LxWxH) 13.5x11x4mm. This stone was cut by spinning a rounded rough Emerald on a brass rod across a diamond-coated lapidary plate and then polished with progressively finer grits of sandpaper and finally a polish with aluminum oxide and leather. I am an amateur cutter and therefore the stone may not be quite as pretty as a professional cut stone, but here is the thing, It wasn't cut in a lab overseas! Plus, you can say it was a Handmade American Product :) !
