Description: Mexican Metate This is a hand-painted piece of South American art pottery.It is formed in the shape of a figural metate. The grinding stone has been created for decorative purposes only. I do not know of it's age or exact place of creation. The metate measures 7 1/2" wide x 12" long x 4 3/4" tall. Everything is in very good condition.There are no chips or cracks.(Please see photos for full condition.)
