Description: This vintage stoneware jar with a colorful cobalt blue floral/plant pattern is a beautiful addition to any collection. The jar is hand-painted with a salt glaze finish and has a loose lid that sits on top. It is possible that it was made as a candle holder. Not sure. It has one compartment and measures approximately 4 inches in height and width. The jar is round in shape and has a handle for easy carrying. The item is a vintage/retro style with a plant/leaf/flower theme. It is perfect for decorative use or as a functional piece for storing small items. It is not marked. It does have holes in the side that I assume are for venting. The lid just sits on top. It does not connect down inside the jar. I bought these two pieces together. They could probably be used separately or just as decorative items. Good used condition. No crazing or cracks that I can see. Please see the pictures.
