He is a former president of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.Tonya Amankwatia, Ph.D. (2008, Lehigh University), is Assistant Vice Provost of Distance Education at North Carolina A&T State University. Her impactful publications span leadership, online strategy, program evaluation, instructional design and technology implementation. Recently, she co-edited Large-Scale Technology Implementation Stories to Inspire Change (Brill, 2023).Lauren Cifuentes, Ph.D. (1991, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), is Learning Design and Technologies Professor at New Mexico State University.
