Description: The legendary Kokopelli flute-player design dates back to around A.D. 200. It is a very well known figure in the Southwest and one of the most popular and significant of all Native American figures. Many early Native American tribes used this figure in pottery designs, petroglyphs and pictographs. Many artists today feature or incorporate it in a variety of media and artistic expressions. I handcrafted this from 1/4 inch solid red oak on a scroll saw and spray finished it will Danish Finish oil which brings out the natural color and grain. Leather is attached to the top for easy mounting or wall hanging. The length is 9 inches and the width is 3 inches. Thanks for your interest...please look at my other handcrafted items. Regards Cliff
