The blank for this pen is made from a Molten Metal Alumilite blank. Alumilite is a clear Epoxy Casting Resin that can be tinted in an assortment of colors. These pens are made in small batches by tinting the Alumilite with an assortment of colors then mixing the batches together to make the swirly colors that you see in this pen. This is a spectacular looking pen in person. The last photo is a close up of the pen that shows the detail of the colors that run throughout this pen. The Sierra pen is also remarkably similar in size and weight when compared to the Nouveau Sceptre pen as well, yet still giving you a brand new and innovative look. This pen is also a wonderful mid-sized pen and due to its unique design, it is very light and comfortable to hold. The bottom, or writing end, of the pen is about ½" in diameter at the thickest, yet only about ¼" in diameter where your fingers grip the pen to write. The overall length of all of the pen is roughly 5 ¼".
