You are bidding on a hand turned Sierra Style Ballpoint Pen kit that was made from a unique new material Polymer Clay. The designs are made by slicing individual pieces of polymer clay canes and arranging them on a brass tube. Each blank is an individual with no two being the same. Once the clay design is laid out on the tube it is trimmed to size then baked to harden it. It is then turned on the lathe to a specific size and shape, then it is finished using a CA finish which will both protect the pen as well as show off the unique colors. This is a spectacular looking pen in person. The last photo is a close up of the pen that shows the detail of the colors that run throughout this pen.This pen is also a wonderful mid-sized pen and due to its unique design, it is very light and comfortable to hold. The bottom, or writing end, of the pen is about ½" in diameter at the thickest, yet only about ¼" in diameter where your fingers grip the pen to write. The overall length of the pen is roughly 5 ¼".
