Description: Solid black peyote stitch beaded amulet necklace pouch made with hexagonal seed beads. Strap is tubular peyote stitch. Features a fun lid which raises along the strap. You can carry money, candy, a special memento...you name it! Peyote stitch is a method of bead weaving using a needle and thread. I add one bead at a time until a fabric develops. I love the weight and feel of the woven beads. It’s a time-consuming process - about 40 hours per pouch - but it’s also very therapeutic! Body of pouch is approx. 1.75" wide by 2.75" high. Strap is approx. 27.5" long (it’s a little bit stretchy). Each pouch I make is unique and may have slight imperfections due to being handmade.
