Description: St Mother Cabrini & St Francis XavierSingle Decade Rosary This beautiful single decade rosary is dedicated to Mother Cabrini, a beloved American saint, and St Francis Xavier. The 7/8" nickel silver medal has St Francis Xavier on one side and Mother Cabrini on the other. All eleven beads are 8 mm in size. The ten Hail Mary beads are faceted, fire-polished Czech glass in alternating aurora borealis light aqua and amethyst purple colors. The Our Father bead is a smooth, round genuine Amethyst. The 1-1/2" gold-toned St Benedict crucifix and the medal were made in Italy; the chaplet itself was designed and lovingly handmade by me in our home in the USA. She founded the Missionary sisters of the Sacred Heart, which gave Italian immigrants much needed help, and built schools and hospitals. She died in 1917 and was canonized in 1946, the first naturalized citizen of the US to become a saint. St Francis Xavier was a 16th century missionary who co-founded the Society of Jesus and traveled extensively, converting people in India, Japan and other countries.
