Built like a rock, this ring glides onto your hand like it's been your favorite ring for years. Made smooth as butter with a very nice weight of 13.2 grams. It is a wider band at 13mm on the table and tapering off gradually in a thick svelte line to 6mm in the back for comfort. The ring will not bend. It is made extremely well, and you'll see that when you open up the ring box. Under the band is finished and highly polished sterling silver with nothing to scratch you. It is an enjoyable ring to wear. Also, the edges have been slightly rounded so nothing to jab. Super comfortable. You'll have full use of your hand for even though it's a nice width, it doesn't sit too high up, so you won't be banging it on things. The architecture is intelligent with the top portion slightly wider and thicker than the back... and all of it solid. The 'bending arch' across the front allows for the light to play with the fire in these opals and they do CATCH THE LIGHT LIKE CRAZY and will send a bright flash of red or blue across the table. This signature ring will wink and flash at people around you without your knowing it. It's a flirt. Size 13 and set in sterling silver 925, your ring arrive gift boxed along with care instructions. Please note: This is a prototype with only a handful made in this opal hue combination. A few rings were photographed to represent the entire grouping so the fire may flash a bit differently than our video shows but really, they all are so much alike, with each ring having its own unique brilliance. Also, we use solid Gilson opal in our prototype rings which is harder on the Mohs scale, so you won't have to 'baby' your ring as it's much less apt to break. This Gilson opal is graded as gemstone.
