Very good, with clippings from some later issue of Poetry affixed to endpapers and blacks, both front and rear, ownership inscription in ink on flyleaf: Mabel and Eliot White, August 1918, and ink notes on one of the terminal leafs citing quite a few pages in the text that have been "marked" -- very short pencil lines signifying poems one of the Whites liked; these marks are erasable but we have not done anything about them. (Eliot White was a progressive minister from Worcester, MA; he and his wife hosted Emma Goldman when she gave an anarchist speech, mentioned in her autobiography). 225 pp. This volume contains works by Aldington, Colum, Robert Frost (The Code--Heroics), H. D., DH Lawrence, Harriet Monroe, several by Pound, Sandburg, Tagore, Yeats, and many others, includes essays and reviews by Pound, Monroe and others, too, and much else. Very good.
