The third ticket is for the Princess Theatre in Montreal, Dated October 18, 1926. It was here during this run at the Princess, that McGill college student, J. Gordon Whitehead, reigned down blows to Houdini's abdomen, while Houdini was reclining on a sofa, in his dressing room. The date was October 22. The young man unknowingly ruptured Houdini's appendix. Houdini ignored the pain and soldiered on with a "The show must go on" attitude. In Detroit, Houdini finished his show at the Garrick theatre and collapsed back stage.
