I would also leave the light off for a while since they have been in a dark box for some time. If you give any food, give them just a little at first. I will also send a small sample of the flake food I feed that you can use for the first couple of days till they come running out each time they see you. You will actually receive 22 pairs in case of any mishap during so you will receive in total 22 females mixed and 22 males mixed for a total of approx. 44 fish. I only ship Monday and Tuesday to make sure your shipment isn’t sitting somewhere and not moving. If your fish arrive DOA please take pictures without opening the bag and submit within two (2) hours of receiving. I will resend your order but you will be Responsible for the shipping charges on a resend. My stock is healthy and temperature is around 78. When you receive your order, float bag for about 15-20 min. When the temperature is about equal, net the fish to add to your tank and discard water in bag. I do not feed for two days prior to shipping to keep the nitrate and ammonia rate down.
