Description: An early Harvey W. Peace, Brooklyn, NY Vulcan crosscut hand saw. 26 inch blade, 4 1/2 teeth per inch. Split nuts attaching the handle. Handle is split as images show but not loose at all. Some former owner has polished the brasses and taken the finish off the flat surfaces of the handle. Needs sharpened if it were to be used. Blade is straight. The etch is very faint but most of it can still be made out. Blade has usual minor pitting. Good example of a scare maker.
