The first-generation MR2, which went on sale in 1984, was the first mid-ship sports car produced by a Japanese automaker, and won the 1984 Japan Car of the Year award. A late model appeared in 1986, and a supercharger and a T-bar roof equipped car were set. The kit reproduces the late models highest grade "G-Limited" with a completely new mold based on thorough coverage of the actual vehicle. The part of the engine that can be seen when the engine hood is opened is made into parts. The retractable headlight can be opened and closed.
