Claire was born to a lower-class family and they lived in a impoverished part of London. Claire says that she does not remember much of her childhood. Claire believes the memory of her childhood is clouded as her father was very abusive to her and her siblings. She says that even if she could remember it clearly, she wouldn't wish to speak on it anyway. Claire died when she was 44 years old. Claire was terminally ill and had been for about 3 years when she died. Claire had 3 children that she left behind, 2 sons and 1 daughter. Claire says that within 2 years after her death, her husband remarried. She says that the fact he remarried angered her for a while. However, now she is over it and she says she is just happy her children had a mother figure to guide them through their lives. Claire feels a lot of sadness and regret that she couldn't be there for her children. She says that in a way she feels like a failure of a mother but understands it would've never been her choice to leave. Claire lived in a terraced house, in the North of England. She says that she loved where she lived, her neighbors were always friendly, and they all looked out for one another. Claire did not have much family, so she considered her neighbors and close friends like family to be honest. She says she feels a bit pathetic saying that out loud, but that's just how it was for her. Claire says that sometimes in spirit she does feel a little lonely. However, it usually passes quite quickly. Claire is quite a social woman, and I feel she likely is social, so she doesn't ever feel lonely, like she doesn't have the time to feel lonely if she is being social. Claire worked in a local factory that made children's clothes. She enjoyed the job to be honest, she says it wasn't ''too bad'' and that it was ''work.'' All that mattered to Claire was that she was providing for her family. She always wanted her children to have a good life. Claire is a very kindhearted woman.
